About

My journey into photography began at a young age when a disposable camera from a family vacation yielded surprisingly decent results—at least according to my father. Encouraged by this, he passed down my grandfather's old Rolleiflex, opening the door for me to explore the medium more deeply.

Around the same time, I became increasingly fascinated by music videos—this was, after all, the golden era of MTV. That fascination soon evolved into a passion for the moving image, shaping my visual language and artistic approach.

From 2008 to 2010, I studied at both Vancouver Film School and Focal Point Photography School in Vancouver, BC. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to turn my passion into a profession, working across photography and cinematography.

My work is defined by a deep study of light and shadow, their poetic interplay, and a cinematic sensibility that balances intimacy with distance.

Since 2019, I have been working independently.
