I came to take pictures at a young age after a family vacation “Disposal Camera” photos turned out okay according to my father.

He then decided to hand me down my grandfather's old Rolleiflex and I started exploring the medium more.

Around the same time I got more and more into watching Musicvideos, it was after all the golden area of MTV and so I also discovered a passion for the moving image.

Studied at both Vancouver Film School and Focal Point Photography School in Vancouver BC from 2008-2010. Have been shooting ever since and lucky enough to make a living from early on.

The study of light and darkness and its poetic relation to all matters within and without, combined with a certain distant cinematic sensibility is what defines my style.

Since 2019 independently working.

Work Experiences include:

  • 2011-2015 Staff Photographer for Austrian Newspaper Kleine Zeitung.

  • 2015-2019 Photographer and Retoucher at Lupi Spuma Fine Art Photography based in Graz. ( Clients included: Volkstheater Wien, Schilerol, Schauspielhaus Graz, VITEO, Makava,…)
